Does this work with scanned or flat-image PDFs?

No. ReadMyBlueprint works with digital plan files exported directly from design software — AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. A scanned or photographed plan has no real drawing data for it to measure, so the tool will tell you it can't measure those pages rather than guess. If your plan set is a mix of real digital sheets and scanned ones (common on renovation/repair projects that reference older drawings), the digital sheets still work fine.

Is there a free trial?

Can I cancel anytime?

What is drywall takeoff software?

Drywall takeoff software reads a plan set and counts the drywall sheets, studs, track and insulation each wall needs, so you do not measure every partition by hand. ReadMyBlueprint is construction takeoff software for drywall, metal and wood framing, insulation and CMU block subcontractors: it measures each wall from the PDF's own geometry and matches it to your wall-type legend. On our Freeport Square test set (21 pages), 68.9% of walls auto-matched and 99.8% resolved after one "Confirm all". That is one test set, not a promise for every plan.
